OUR HISTORY
Women and Girls in Sisterhood for Healing Inc. was founded in 2022 by a formerly incarcerated mother and her daughter who saw a need to promote healing and self love from years of endured trauma.
Our Focus
Our focus is to promote healing and self love in a sisterhood of formerly incarcerated and directly impacted Women and Girls-Unapologetically!!! At WGSH, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space where Women and Girls from diverse backgrounds can come together to heal, grow and support one another. We recognize the challenges and adversities that Women and Girls often face, including but not limited to trauma, social pressures and societal expectations. We strive to provide a nurturing environment that promotes healing, resilience and personal development.

Women and Girls in Sisterhood for Healing Inc. - Boots on the Ground. We Outside!! FreeHer
Providing Women and Girls with the tools, support, and resources necessary to heal, thrive and contribute positively to society. We are passionate about creating a safe space where Women and Girls feel empowered, supported and valued.
Women and Girls Healing Circles, focusing on self-care, empowerment and leadership to enhance our sisters self-esteem and confidence. Creative Corners and Wellness Practice Sessions in person and on Zoom, practice on mindfulness, art therapy and other healing modalities to promote mental, emotional and physical well-being. Pairing Women and Girls with mentors who can provide guidance, support and encouragement, fostering positive relationships and personal growth. WGSH Pantry, Participatory Defense,Women & Girls Bail Out,Curbside Awareness, organizing events and gatherings to strengthen the bond among Women and Girls and create a sense of belonging within the sisterhood. Volunteers are always Welcomed!!!
